These are the wraps I've used for the majority of the time for all 3 of my girls over the past 8 years. I've tried others, even made some, but these are the ones I prefer. They will wick if you let the child go too long or if yours is a heavy wetter. They are sturdy and well sized. You will not go wrong if you have a supply of these on hand. --Jackie 1/09

I love my BSWW! This is a great cover that is cute and contains leaks very well. My son has skinny legs and we haven't had a single leak. My only complaint would be that they are a little bulky under pants/shorts, but since I rarely put either on him, I don't mind. Who would cover such a cute print? --Jerinda 4/08

Love this wrap. My only complaint is that they are a little bulky, but now that my newborn is closer to 8 pounds, the newborn wrap fits him better. --Elizabeth 4/08

I am not impressed with these covers. They seem very stiff from the beginning no matter how many times I washed them. They leak probably 8 out of 10 times we use them. We have pretty much given up on them and use our other diaper covers now. We never did anything other then the washing instructions so not sure why they leak all the time. --Terri 2/08

These are great, workhorse covers- they are sturdy but breathable, don't stain, and can be thrown in the dryer (something I only do by accident). Love the range in the sizing, to, you can get a lot of wear out of them. My 28 lb 26 month old and 14 1/2 lb 6 month old both fit in the mediums. My only qualm is that I wish they had a little more coverage around the legs- so I use Thirsties cover when this is an issue. Shannon 03/07

I started using the SWW when my 1st daughter was 2 months old. We still have the SAME covers and she uses them only at night now......she is 3 1/2 years old!! I got the size Medium, and it has been the best investment! Our 2nd daughter is now in the size Small, she is 3 months old, and will be moving up to the Medium in about a month or so. I do not plan on buying new covers for her. The ones from my first daughter still work just fine. If you rotate them after each diaper change, they seem to work much better. I have rarely had any leaks, and they hold in Everything!! Crystal 2/07

This is the first wrap I reach for. My daughter has skinny legs and this wrap fits perfect around them. We don't have any leaks and they hold up well in the wash. We also have Proraps, but have not had as much success with them. Kim 2/07

Very cute and durable, but the legs are cut too low for my chunky girl. They leave red marks on her thighs. We won't be buying these in larger sizes. We prefer Proraps. Carrie 1/07

Bummis SWW are very versatile....they WILL WICK, however I think that tends to be related to fit and to the diaper being used. But for the price and the fit, these are great diaper covers to have in your stash. Emilee 01/07

This cover is generous in size, but I found that even with proper washing, they are damp after three diaper changes and sometimes leak around the legs. They are good b/c they dry quickly. You really need to keep two in rotation during the day. They do not hold odor. Laura 9/06

I feel I've been sampling a bit of everything since I'm new to the cloth diaper scene and I really, really like this wrap. It seems to contain very well, isn't particularly bulky, and washes fabulously. I don't dry them though because I've read it's better to air dry them, but that isn't even a problem because they dry so very quickly. Thus far, I like these covers the very best. Danielle 2/06

It is leak-proof and very durable, but is too bulky. I have to dress her in larger than than normal clothes if I use this wrap. Devin 2/06

By far the best cover we own! It leaks the least and fits the best. We've used these covers from the time our daughter was two months old and at 13 months they still work best. - Barbara 1/06

By far the best cover that I have tried. I am overall very pleased with it. My son has been in the same cover for 8 months and is only now beginning to outgrow it. The only thing that I don't like about this cover is that it seems to get a little funky smelling after a while and it is a little discolored around the [hook and loop tape] panel and the leg bands. Other than that, it is super durable and well worth the price. - Jenny 1/06

These covers are outstanding. A single size got us from 6 months to potty training. They are low-profile, dry rapidly, easy to adjust and the fit is comfortable. They never rub or leak. With long-term hot washes and low drying they become less waterproof, but they air dry so quickly that I don't put my newer ones in the dryer at all. - Jessie 1/06

We use these on our girls, age 21 mo and 2 mo, white, [hook and loop tape] fastener. They hold up exceptionally well even with repeated machine drying. I've only had one start to fail (hook and loop tape) and this is with very hard use. They do discolor to a yellowish color over time, but it's not really unattractive nor does it affect performance. The sizing (by weight) is very accurate. Best diaper wrap we've ever used. - Rachel 1/06 |
