Happy Heinys popular pocket diaper in an economical one size for babies approximately 8-35 lbs. (Baby Cotton Bottoms recommends a more realistic 8-35 pounds for "chubbier" babies and 10-40 pounds for "thinner" babies.)  Each diaper includes 2 microterry inserts...one small for young babies, and 1 medium/large for bigger/older babies.  Use them together for heavier wetting times.

Happy Heinys newest product line! Our very own One Size Pocket Diaper. The snap setting allows the diaper to grow from small, medium to large. Plus a cross over tab is in place to give the diaper a perfect fit. Two microfiber inserts, one small and one large, come with this diaper to make it complete.

Our One Size Diapers are made in solid colors and some fantastic new prints. The prints are made of the same material as the solid tested to last up to 12 hours with absolutely no wicking for most babies.

Product Details

Happy Heiny's are made from an outer laminated waterproof  shell with custom milled fleece against baby's skin for awesome comfort. They are made without leg casings, which makes for great fitting diapers and contains messes without leaving red marks. Happy Heiny's fasten with Aplix brand hook and loop tape great for quick, easy diaper changes even on your "wiggle worm".

The solid & fun colors of Happy Heinys we carry have been tested and can last up to 12 or more hours at night with absolutely no wicking or leaking for most babies. As with all pocket diapers, Happy Heiny's absorbency is customizable according to the needs of your baby.  Simply stuff the inner pocket with an absorbent insert or two, wrap around baby, & your good to go!

To wash, we recommend using Allen's Naturally.  Other detergents will leave a residue build-up on the fleece of your Happy Heiny's which will in turn prevent your diapers from being able to absorb.  More more detailed care tips, visit Happy Heiny's.

These diapers are not the same great quality I have found with the sized Happy Heinys. They are pilling and not soft anymore. The velcro tabs barely stay shut. I have medium Happy Heinys that I have used for 2 years and they are so much softer and still velcro. I would not recommend these. --Kimberly 7/09

I love this diaper! We did have leaking when she was a newborn at 7lbs8oz, so I agree with 10lb recommendation from Baby Cotton Bottoms. Once she chubbed up a bit, we've had no problems with leaks. The wide velcro is awesome for adjusting the fit and strong enough to hold when she kicks. The ease of the velcro is great for night time changes when I can't see to manage snaps.  --Megan  5/09

You can't go wrong with these! They are super easy to use and care for. Never had a leak. They come out looking great wash after wash. I am very happy with them and they are the only ones I have purchased in a bigger size after using Fuzzi Bunz and Bummis Super Whisper Wraps. --Liz 1/09

I am a huge fan of Bum Genius 2.0 so when I saw Happy Heiny's One Size diaper I had to try it. It's now my favorite! They are trimmer than the BG's and super soft inside. They wash up as perfect as the day I bought them. The solid waste comes right out making clean-up and diaper changes a snap! Definitely worth the $$.  --Jen 4/08

LOVE this product. I'm relatively new to CD-ing and I love the ease of use and washing and how sturdy the diaper is constructed. Also love that the fleece rolls out around the legs! Wish they made it in more prints too!  --Naomi 3/08

Note from BCB:  These diapers have been changed since this review.  Now the leg fleece is sewn down like most other pocket diapers.  Though most people liked the roll-out fleece (still available on the Happy Heinys sized pockets), some found it to wick when the diapers got too wet.  All the One-Size pockets available now have sewn-down leg fleece like the ones at the very top of this page.
