Due to the decrease in value of the American Dollar against the Canadian Dollar, the price on these unfortunately continues to climb. Wool is naturally anti-microbial, so they don't smell and you only wash these every week or two depending on level of use. And we promise it's not hard to care for these wonderful covers NOW INTRODUCING ARISTOCRATS LONGIES! Same design as before, but with long legs to double as pajama bottoms or to keep warm during cold months. These are adorable on baby. Cozy, stretchy and absorbent with plenty of room for growth. This pure wool pull-on diaper cover is made in a stretchy, double-layered knit designed for extra absorbency and protection. Untreated wool is super soft (not itchy) and actually absorbs more than one third of its weight in moisture before it begins to feel wet. What's more, wool, being completely breathable, maintains normal body temperature - not too hot, not too cold - thereby greatly reducing the diaper rash for sensitive babies. For twenty four hour protection we recommend 3 to 4 covers rotated and air-dried between uses. Unless soiled, Aristocrats Diaper Covers require hand washing only about once every 1 to 2 weeks. Washing regularly with Sheepish Grins Wool Wash and waterproofing treatment with Sheepish Grins Liquid Lanolin will ensure your Aristocrats wool soaker remains water resistant. Months Used = 2 This is the first wool cover I have ever used, and I have been very pleasantly surprised. It really does not leak! And on my baby's super-sensitive skin, wool has proven to keep his bottom healthier. Washing and lanolizing in Eucalan is so easy that my 4-year-old asks to do it and I happily comply! The size ranges are great. I use a small and a large on my 15 lb'er. Yes, the large is a bit large, but it works great at night when we use a baby premium prefold and an infant prefold. The large also still fits my 35 lb'er! For faster drying, we put one on a cookie rack in the playroom and leave the ceiling fan on high. It dries in about 8 hours that way. When they actually get dirty, a little wash with olive oil bar soap -just on the dirty part- prior to the Eucalan works well. - Becky 1/07 | Rating = 5
Months Used = 4 We love, love, love this wool cover. We bought two in each size and use them every night and have never had a leak. The care required may seem daunting at first, but really all they need is a soak in Eucalan every week or two and they are as good as new. During the summer we've often just had baby in an unbleached Snappi-ed prefold and a wool cover and he is very comfortable, even in the nastiest heat. I highly recommend these covers for their performance and versatility. If we could afford it, our baby would be in these day and night!

Months Used = 1 I love this cover! I use it almost every night over a pinned prefold on my 2 1/2 year old. We've not had any leaks OR any compression wetness (which we have had with other wool soakers). My daughter never complains about being uncomfortable in this cover, and I can't wait to use a newborn one in September!

Months Used = 9 These are the best, most breathable, nighttime covers for those babies who have very sensitive skin. We've never experienced a leak in these and our son looks so cute in these. It's when I get that taste for the natural look on my son I put an unbleached prefold pinned and one of these on and he is just so happy! - Rebecca 2/06 |
