Product Details

The Snappi® Diaper Fastener revolutionized cloth diapering! Over 40 million have sold worldwide. It is a SAFE, HYGIENIC and EASY to use fastener that offers a practical and reliable way to fasten a cloth diaper, replacing the diaper pin.

It is made from a stretchable non-toxic material (latex-free), which is T-shaped with grips on each end. These grips hook into the diaper fabric to ensure a snug-fitting diaper with enough natural movement for the baby.

Snappis work best with terry cloth diapers, our cotton prefolds, and other cloth diapers with a loose enough weave for the Snappi to hook into. They DO NOT work well flannel, hemp, or any other tightly woven diapers.

Best invention ever. That's all.  --Jerinda 4/08

So easy to use and cute colors! I throw a different colored Snappi in with each order just because the variety is fun. I also keep one in the diaper bag at all times. A must-have for prefold and flat diapers. - Karen 3/07

We've used prefold diapers w/ either the vinyl or wool covers and have really loved the Snappi's. We've used both the Snappi's and old-fashioned diaper pins. Honestly, I love the look of the pins and enjoyed using them when Jr. was younger, but now that he's squirming around and crawling about, it is much easier to use the Snappi's--even in the dark in the middle of the night! Also, order AT LEAST 2 of these...we "lost" our only Snappi and had to use the pins exclusively for about a week until we ordered another two. - Jessica 2/07

Although I'm not against pins, my husband refused to even try to use them. Not to mention I stabbed myself a few times (better me than my daughter). The Snappi took a few tries to get used to but I looove it! And who can resist the cute colors? No more pins for us! - Stephanie 1/07

I absolutely love the Snappis fastener WITH the Snappi diaper. At first I didn't quite like the pair because it seemed difficult to fasten, BUT after a few times I became a pro. (hook the bottom part first, then the sides) and I LOVE them. I give these a four because they do snag some fabrics (pre-folds, contours). They do not snag Snappi diapers and work fantastically with the Snappi diaper. They make the Snappi diaper fit on just about any shaped child. My toddler has fat thighs and a very thin waist and this system makes a custom fit for her. I use the same diaper for another, larger child I care for who has smaller legs/hips and a large belly and still this fastener holds the diaper well for a perfect, custom-fit, leak free experience. I also love that there is no velcro to aggravate skin or come apart in the wash, and once you are adept at using it, it's way faster than snaps. Beware: do not to use these without a snug-fitting cover. I find the middle hook can release the bottom part and hang free-- snagging the side of mommies shirt, and my toddler will play with the fastener when it's not covered. Who would want to use a cloth diaper with a cover anyway? (We were having an "air out" day!) - Valerie 12/06

GENIUS!!! While I never stabbed my daughter while using pins, I managed to stab myself...twice! I knew there had to be a better way. I'm so glad I found out about Snappis! Whoever invented these things deserves the Nobel Prize. They really help cinch up prefolds and flats so they fit my long and slender girl with no gapping. They're worth every penny! Try them...I know you'll LOVE them! - Jennifer 4/06

I love using these and they work so well. They don't come off or open by themselves and don't poke through to my baby's skin. So much easier than pins! - Alison 2/06

I love the Snappi! My neighbor and I both use it. It is a great way to secure the diaper without the worry of sticking the baby. I never have a problem with it coming undone. What a great invention! - Meg 1/06

These are Soooo much better than the gerber ones you
can buy at the store!  In addition to being sturdier, they are much sharper, so they go through the diapers more easily - no more jabbing yourself or your baby.  The locking mechanism works better, too.  Stick them in a bar of soap between uses and they will continue to glide through the fabric.

I love these! If you like pinning prefolds these are awesome! After I learned how to pin I'm a pro at it now and do it in a breeze. My son's prefolds are very trim fitting and they just look better with pins to me than a Snappi. Love the colors too! =) - Rebecca 1/06
