Baby Cotton Bottoms was in search of an excellent quality fitted for under $10.  When we couldn't find it we approached our friends over at Play All Day and they came up with this brilliant little number.  They're simple.  Three layers of cotton flannel with a microfiber core for maximum absorption with minimal bulk, snap closures, and serged edges.  While they're not super fancy, the quality is excellent and the reviews with our testers and in the shop have been great! 

All Play All Day products are sewn by Work-At-Home moms in Golden, Colorado using the maximum possible amount of organic and Fair Trade textiles.  These diapers are not organic. 

These diapers do require a cover for waterproof use, but we've seen a number of kids running around this summer with no covers for long stretches.  This diaper has fantastic absorbency for the money.  We haven't found another like it.

I've had very few poop leaks from the fitted diaper on to my cover making my cover last several wears before needing to be laundered. The snaps are nice and sturdy.  I suggest that a higher quality flannel be used. The design of the diaper is great and the function is awesome. When I felt the diapers in the store they were buttery soft--one reason I was excited to use them, but the first time I washed the diapers they became stiff and pilled.  Just a suggestion.  They are very absorbent.  --Lisa 11/08
