Baby Cotton Bottoms Note:  This detergent and pre-wash are entirely NON-SUDSING, so you cannot use suds as a measure of detergent residue.  However, it rinses very cleanly, quickly, so we've found buildup to be far less a problem with this detergent than most others we've tried.  HE and top-loaders both use the 1/2 ounce dose per load, and this is testing to work great for both!
