New to the cloth diapering scene, Thirsties offers a diaper cover to families looking for a super cute yet effective waterproof wrap. Thirsties Diaper Covers are made from a single layer polyester laminate for optimal breathability and hassle-free washing. Want to get away with fewer diaper covers in rotation? The laminate that lines the inside of the soft polyester can be wiped clean between uses. Then toss in the washer with your diapers and dry on low heat. Secures with Aplix velcro for a perfect and secure fit every time. Only the best in components are used in every Thirsties Diaper Cover: Aplix velcro and Lastin elastic that will not wear out or stretch out. Leg gussets provide advanced leak-proof protection and bindings are super soft against baby skin and will not wick moisture onto baby's clothes. Laundry tabs have been added to keep velcro from sticking to your diapers. The X-Small size features an umbilical cut out for your newborn's comfort. The generous cut of Thirsties Diaper Covers offers a superior waterproof exterior to use in partnership with any type of flat, prefolded, contoured, or fitted cloth diaper. Please note: The flap at the front of the inside of the cover is for waterproofing. Do not tuck a diaper inside this flap or wetness could wick through the sewing holes created by attaching the front velcro. Always lay your diaper on top of this flap. Machine wash warm or hot (below 95 degrees). Dry on low or hang to dry for extended wear. Made in the USA. |

Rating = 5 Months used = 20I have tried other covers like Bummis and Starbunz, but none has fit as well and been as leak-proof as the Thirsties. The Thirsties cover has been my favorite for covering a variety of bulky fitteds and for completely sealing in my thin-thighed 'Skinny Minnie.' Also, this cover seems to have fit for a longer period of time than the others so that I did not have to purchase as many different sizes. All the great cover choices also help to make this cover a perfect choice. --Carrie 7/08 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 2These covers are amazing. They completely cover the diaper and we've had no leaks. The best part is the top had a bit of elastic that folds over the diaper so there are no leaks onto the clothing! Awesome colors too! --Megan 5/08 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 1 I love Thirsties covers! I have NEVER had a leak with one and they fit oh, so nicely. They are super easy to wash and dry really fast. Ily recommend these to anyone! --Jerinda 4/08 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 6I have tried many covers but these are the best! Ive been using them for 6 months now and never had a leak. They are leak proof! I have had a couple poops that came up over the top but I think that would have happened with any diaper cover. The colors are cute and the price is right too. These are also my husbands favorite covers and he gets mad if we don't have any clean during a diaper change. --Terri 2/08 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 3I am new to the cloth diapering scene and I am hooked! I Thirsties diaper wraps make it so easy. They are easy to wash, easy to wrap, and fit perfectly over Kissaluvs diapers. Most importantly, they contain messes and to my surprise they never leak, even through the wettest nights. --Alisha 1/08 |
Rating = 4 Months used = 1I gave these a try based on the rave reviews they got, but unfortunately didn't work for my 11 mo son. He got deep red marks on his thighs and scratches on his tummy from the velcro (probably due to the elastic waist). Other than that, it was a nice cover because of the lightweightness, stetchiness, and fast drying aspect. But, I will stick with my Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. --Danielle 1/08 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 6These are my favorite diaper covers! After using Proraps and Bummis for over 2 years with my oldest child, I learned about Thirsties. These covers are the best! I haven't had the leaks, stinks, or unraveling at the seams that I experienced with other covers, and I work 'em hard! Very effective on my 2 heavy wetters. Thanks! --Lisa 12/07 |
Rating = 4 Months used = 1These covers are great! They fit very well and the leg gussets are a plus! I love all the colors and the price is great, they aren't as bulky as the super whipser wrap..the only thing I don't like is how the gussets leave red marks on my daughters legs, and she has small chicken legs! --Ashley 12/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 1This is a soft cover that can be wiped on the inside. It's side panels are wide enough to fit flat nappies. Haven't had a leak yet. Nice colours too. --Kelley 11/07 |
Rating = 2 Months used = 1Man I was really looking forward to this cover, it is so cute. The problem was that the leg gussets are way too tight on my average baby boy. They left deep red marks that took the better part of the day to disappear. I have only tried size Medium. Very disappointed with the fit. --Jessica 11/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 2I love the thirsties diaper cover! I have used a variety of covers and the thirsties seem to be the most waterproof. I haven't had any leaks with the thirsties unlike most others. And the gussets are great! I always worry about blow outs, but so far so good! Great product! --Shiree 10/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 5These are great. I use them with prefolds, and they are not only adorable, they control leaks really well. The gussets on the legs are key. They also dry quickly, keep their color, and are quite durable. Love 'em. --Jennifer 10/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 2We have purchased one of each cover on this site, and the Thirsties are by far our favourite. The price, colours, fit and durability are all superior to any diaper cover we've tried. The Bummis Super Whisper Wrap are also a great fit, but I find the leg gussets on the Thirsties to be a little better; this diaper cover also dries much faster than any cover we've tried (with the exception of Mother-Ease which is not sold on this site). All in all, a great diaper! --Krystle 09/07 |
Rating = 4 Months used = 4These covers function great...no leaks, cover my prefolds and fitteds, and come in cute colors. My only dislike is durability. I have used 3 of these in a rotation of 6 covers for 4 months and they are starting to look pretty worn. The laundry tabs don't stick, the gusset elastic is VERY pilly and on one the PUL is starting to crack. I was hoping to use them for another child, but they probably won't last. Otherwise I really like these. --Amanda 08/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 1Fabulous! These covers fit great and we haven't had a single leak yet! They dry quickly after laundering too. I would recommend these to anyone using prefolds. --Melanie 08/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 2I just had my first baby and spent a lot of time researching cloth diapers beforehand. I use these covers with prefolds and they are incredible. Not one leak. They wash well and dry quickly. We get tons of compliments on the colors. We go on long daytrips and use these with no problem. Some advice: if you are using prefolds, stock up on some doublers for nighttime use. Also, they are definitely true to size -- the smalls will be WAY to big on a newborn, and the extra-smalls can't be stretched past 12 pounds. Finally, a 6:1 ratio of prefolds to covers work for us (we home launder every 2-3 days with 36 prefolds and 6 covers). Good luck! --Abbie 08/07 |
Rating = 3 Months used = 1Super cute and great leakage protection, However, between this and my BSWW and Prorap, these leave the worst red marks on my chubby baby (18.5 pd 4-mo old in Mediums) --Tricia 07/07 |
Rating = 4 Months used = 6 I love these covers! I first used the size medium on my toddler and then XS (and S) on my new baby, who is now 5 months old. They are lightweight, and contain blow-outs and leaks wonderfully. I love the full coverage around the thigh, and they fit beautifully with both prefolds and fitted diapers. I will say, though, that the Small covers we're using now are maybe a tad too small for the baby size prefolds, and the Med. is still too big. A temporary problem, no doubt. One thing- I was a little disappointed with the "ocean" color- much darker than I expected- but hey, it's more about function! - Shannon 3/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 4 A super cover! One of my favorites! Fits super over fitted diapers or trifolded prefolds. Because of the leg gussets, I even totally trust this cover at night. Never a leak! Comes in cute colors too. Highly recommended! - Rachelle 2/07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 1 I've used four different types of covers and this is by far the best cover of them all. The generous cut fits entirely over a bulky fitted diaper or trimly over a prefold. The nice, full leg gussets make a HUGE difference in preventing leaks. I'll never buy another brand again. - Karen 1/07 |
Rating = 2 Months used = 2 I ordered some of these wraps when my baby moved up in size. They have a more compact fit and didn't seem to cover the infant prefolds as well- I ended up having to stuff edges in, making them tighter and more bulky. We prefer Proraps. - Carrie 1-07 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 2 My baby slept through the night for the first time last night - 8 hours. The Thirsties Diaper Cover she was wearing did an incredible job - no leaks! I've tried several different diaper covers and this one is the best! - Karen 12-06 |
Rating = 5 Months used = 1 This cover fits better than any other we've tried (and we've been trying for 22 months!). The leg openings are the best for leak protection, and they appear to be comfortable on our daughter. - Barb 9-06 |
Rating = 4 Months used = 1 I love the colors and the quality of the cover. I haven't had any leaks with ours and it doesn't leave red marks on my daughter's chubby thighs like a lot of other covers. It has a nice trim fit over the fitteds that we use. - Heather 7-06 |
